Yesterday we brought the UK trailer/featurette for Martin Scorsese’s magical family adventure Hugo and a few hours later over the atlantic our American cousins thanks to Apple Paramount Pictures have released the second US Trailer. Plenty of new footage here with a mix of drama, adventure not as focused on Sacha Baron Cohen (finally a film we can watch with the actor in it without feeling cringe worthy) falling into cakes like the previous trailer. It’s common Knowledge Martin Scorsese is a film auteur not just for the films he creates himself but also for his wisdom, knowledge of the history of the craft and Hugo is his homage to the pioneers of film as well as cinema so i’m really looking forward to seeing this one and seeing the birth of things we now take for granted in cinema back in the era Hugo is based they where magical illusions!
Hugo will be released in UK& Ireland from December 2nd and stars Chloe Moretz, Asa Butterfield, Jude Law, Ben Kingsley, Ray Winstone, Christopher Lee and Sacha Baron Cohen
