INDEPENDENCE DAY FILM DIRECTOR ROLAND EMMERICH
Fancy getting your question answered by one of Hollywood’s finest film directors? Then this is your chance! With blockbuster hits such as Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow, 10,000BC and 1998’s Godzilla under his belt, no question is too big for Roland Emmerich.
Vue Cinemas is hosting an exclusive “Twi – interview” (a live interview on Twitter) with Roland on the 25th October at 2.55pm in celebration of his new film, Anonymous. Vue is calling all films fans to get involved by sending in their questions to @vuecinemas via the hashtag #VueAnonymous by 10am that day.
Roland’s latest film Anonoymous, premiers at the BFI London Film Festival on the 26th October and goes on general release on October 28th.The film which features a star-studded British cast including Rhys Ifans, Vanessa Redgrave and David Thewlis, is a fascinating historical drama which contests the authorship of Shakespeare’s works. This lavish and intriguing film spins a compelling theory that the true works of Shakespeare were in fact written by Edward de Vere, the Earl of Oxford.
The film will be screened to the public from 25th October and will be presented in Vue’s High Definition and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound so that cinema goers can experience the drama of the film as though they were at the BFI London Film Festival themselves.
