January 13th, 2012 Steve McQueen’s Shame will arrive in UK& Irish cinema. The movie in the past month or so has been one of the most hotly anticipated movies as it see’s Michael Fassbender team up once again with the film maker that gave him his true break with the highly acclaimed Hunger which saw Fassbender play Irish Republician Political activist Bobby Sands.
Shame is about “A New York man (Fassbender) confronting his sexual compulsions and the self-destructive acts of his sister (Mulligan)“, the film has just played Venice and Telluride Festivals leaving them with outstanding reviews making everyone around The Peoples Movies very excited like kids the night before Christmas! Shadow And Act have uncovered the first clip from Shame a short but brief clip which comes after the highlights of the movies Venice Film Festival press conference (clip appears around 2.30 mark), check out the clip below:
