To be told you have a life threatening disease like cancer is no laughing matter however in 50/50 a bit of the pain is eased through humour. Joseph Gordon Levitt plays Adam a man trying to survive cancer through friendship, survival and finding humour in some of the strangest places, Seth Rogen plays Adams closest friend with the whole movie based on the personal experiences of writer Will Reiser.
