Game of Thrones is this year’s break out TV show from the evergreen HBO.
Set in a fantasy world based on the George R.R. Martin’s best-selling ‘A Song of Fire and Ice’ book series. It follows intertwining plots as the Kings, Queens and Lords battle for dominance over the Iron Throne.
But I’m sure you all already knew that.
So here is a look at the special effects that goes behind creating this world, that is on par with those of a major film production, with the ever so catchy theme tune by Ramin Djawadi.
As you will see, a lot of work goes in to making what is easily dismissible to the average viewer.
Season 2 of “Game of Thrones” premieres Spring 2012.
