Ami Canaan Mann is certainly a true Daddy’s Girl following the footsteps of her father becoming a filmmaker and if her movies are as exciting as daddy Michael Mann we have alot of great movies to look forward too. The Texas Killing Fields is her directorial feature debut and if your looking for a slick true life murder mystery you could do no wrong by checking this movie out. The movie stars Sam Worthing, Jeffrey Dean Morgan one a small time local Texan cop (Worthington) the other a NYPD (Morgan) who team up to track down a serial killer who happens to dispose of his victims in Texan marshlands, the movie also stars Jessica Chastain, Jason Clarke, Stephen Graham and Chloe Moretz showing the world she can play more than just comic book characters and century old vampires.
The movie is long overdue, unsure why it was delayed but the movie will be appearing at Venice Film Festival before making a limited release in USA on October 7th, no new yet for a UK & Irish release.
