One advantage of been from the other side of the Atlantic Ocean there always seem to be films that we never really here about until the last minute and JC Chandor’s MARGIN CALL is one of those movies.
This actually looks as impressive as the cast in which includes Kevin Spacey, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Irons, Zachary Quinto(who is the producer too!), Penn Badgley, Simon Baker, Mary McDonnell, Demi Moore, and Stanley Tucci.
If you miss the 24 style episode but minus the clock and violence you will enjoy this one which is set over a 24 hour period the day that lead upto the first stages of the world financial crisis and within a Wall Street investiment bank. This maybe based on the American side but any sane person knows if one of the worlds big financial institution’s goes its like a domino rally they all fall . Sadly we’re still suffering and with the recent changes in governments here and USA sadly there’s no end in sight .
Fingers crossed this movie will get a release in UK&Ireland as at this moment we have no confirmed release date or even a distributor confirmed but for American movie fans you can catch this movie on October 21st.
