In about 2 months time on August 5th (Tomorrow in USA) JJ Abrams anticipated coming of age sci fi flick SUPER 8 will be playing at a cinema near you. Since day one JJ Abrams has kept the the true story of the movie close to his chest not revealing too much which is great as the footage we do see is teasing us and building up the buzz for the movie. If you’ve been watching all the footage and studying it for any clues you’ll know recent footage including the recent trailer there has been a few minor spoilers as well as the customary ‘easter eggs’, so did you sse them? Today Paramount has kindly sent us a special 6 minute extended clip to wet your appetite even more, so is it aliens? or is somtething else?
If your movie connoisseur and just love everything from the movie straight through the merchandise, posters will be a valuable collectors item to you, so if posters is your thing Dean Struzman wont be a stranger to you. Struzman through the 1980’s worked on many of Steven Spielberg’s finest moments from Indiana Jones, The Goonies, Back To The Future and Spielberg a producer on SUPER 8 it was just a matter of time a poster similar in style of Struzman would appear. Behold a new cool retro style poster for the movie which you can agree looks wonderful not perfect Struzman but does give the movie an nostalgic feel.
