Back in February we told you about the movie was one the way and now the official teaser trailer for THE INBETWEENERS has arrived online! The ever popular E4/Channel 4 series makes the transition to the big screen after a few successful years on British television and like many things that come from television can they pull off the same laughs on the big screen as they did on the small one?
The movie version sees the lads jet off on a ‘lads’ holiday to Malia, Crete and the trailer doesn’t really reveal much but if you’ve ever been on a club 18-30 style holiday you’ll know anything will happen and never expect the unexpected, oh rolling back the memories of been that Holiday Rep, ahh memories!
The movie will do well in UK& Ireland where the television series has aired but how well will it do in th rest of the world? I think we’ll be surpised! The series has been written by the award winning duo, Damon Beesley and Iain Morris, who created the TV show, they have both worked on the likes of the acclaimed ‘The Flight of the Conchords’ and have extensively collaborated with Jimmy Carr. The Inbetweeners Movie stars Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison, Joe Thomas, Emily Head, Belinda Stewart-Wilson and Greg Davies with Bafta winner Ben Palmer directing.
You can see the movie when its released in UK&Ireland on August 19th.
