With July 1st only a few hours away, it means the big blockbusters come out to play in this month, Transformers: Dark of The Moon is out, Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2 and July 29th its CAPTAIN AMERICA:FIRST AVENGER. As you know I’m very selective on what comic book movies I decide to jump onto the buzz wagon but after the disappointing Green Lantern (a movie I said from the start did not look good but was heavily criticised for)the pressure is on America’s No.1 Superhero to save grace for Comic book movies in general.
I’m still not jumped on this movie’s band wagon but recently the surge of trailers, tv spots I have more faith in this movie compared to Green Lantern, I’m not a fan of political patriotism (the original basis of the comic book in the early days Americans Vs Nazis) as long as they dont overdo it people should enjoy it, fanboy/girls will be satisfied and probably roll on movie two after the Avengers flick of course!
Below we have 5 new tv spots unleashed online by Marvel all action packed exciting footage including some new tidbits of footage unseen, but be warned the last 2 tv spots are bit of a spoiler especially for the opening scene of the movie so tread carefully if you dont want anything to spoil your enjoyment . The Spots come from Comic Book Movie and today they have also found a spanking new poster from the movie revealing the movies main characters!
CAPTAIN AMERICA:FIRST AVENGER Stars Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, Hugo Weaving, Stanley Tucci, Sebastian Stan, Toby Jones, Samuel L. Jackson, Dominic Cooper, Tommy Lee Jones, Derek Luke and Neal McDonough.
Born during the Great Depression, Steve Rogers grew up a frail youth in a poor family. Horrified by the newsreel footage of the Nazis in Europe, Rogers was inspired to enlist in the army. However, because of his frailty and sickness, he was rejected. Overhearing the boy’s earnest plea, General Chester Phillips offered Rogers the opportunity to take part in a special experiment… Operation: Rebirth. After weeks of tests, Rogers was at last administered the Super-Solider Serum and bombarded by “vita-rays.” Steve Rogers emerged from the treatment with a body as perfect as a body can be and still be human. Rogers was then put through an intensive physical and tactical training program. Three months later, he was given his first assignment as Captain America. Armed with his indestructible shield and battle savvy, Captain America has continued his war against evil both as a sentinel of liberty and as leader of the Avengers.
