Only 2 weeks to go and the big question many people have been asking for a while….Is GREEN LANTERN any good? June 17th here in UK also Ireland, USA we will find out if the poor start to marketing campaign was merely a minor hiccup or first sign this movie is going to be flop. Even the previous trailer which has made up for previous hiccups gives  the viewers a better insight into  The Green Lantern World I’m still not convinced, maybe its because Ive been brought up on Batman, X-men, Spiderman comics and my knowledge of the Corps is 0%  or it could just be the fact Ryan Reynolds as superhero just doesn’t fit . I dont know why but I know no matter what you show me to convince this movie is good I’m not going to enjoy it.

The recent trailer has convinced a few more people that The Green Lantern maybe good but if your still undecided maybe these 3 new featurettes may swing the movie your way. First up is a behind the scenes look looking at the oath, the ring and the lantern a featurette that was first shown on Subway’s facebook page, next we have a 5 minute featurette looking at the world of Green Lantern and finally we look at the oath again that Hal Jordan (Reynolds) has to recite as well as remember!

GREEN LANTERN movie is based on the Dc title and stars Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan withBlake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Tim Robbins, Jay O. Sanders, Temuera Morrison, Taika Waititi, Jon Tenney and Angela Bassett.

In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ringthat grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax…he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.
