Over my childhood there was only one man who talked to lamps and that wasGlen Michael on his weekend cartoon show Cartoon Cavalcade on Scottish television. With his faithful talking Lamp Paladin not forgetting Rusty the dog right up until the early 1990’s he introduced superhero cartoons along with a mix of Bugs Bunny to Scottish kids, but we do have a superhero in the shape of Hal Jordan who has a green lamp or the GREEN LANTERN. When word this comic book hero was the latest edition to the ever increasing number of already comic book movies it was greeted which great anticipation, the first trailer appeared with its shoddy CGI things weren’t looking good for the movie and bang! The marketing train for the movie disappeared like a houdini trick nowhere to be seen until wonder con but has anything really improved? Sadly this movie is now looking  a hit and miss as many movie fans feel undecided on the movie or have we just got sick and tired that every movie coming out is either a remake or a comic book movie?

Below is a new TV Spot which has nothing new in unseen footage and below that is another hopefully last banner for the movie which has Hal Jordan with His Star Wars episode 1-3 reject friends sorry Lantern Corps, it looks like the designer has had fun with the photoshop duplicate tool! Lets hope Warner Bros has kept the best bits of the movie for the movie only as this is look worse by the day!

GREEN LANTERN  movie is based on the Dc title and stars Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan withBlake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Tim Robbins, Jay O. Sanders, Temuera Morrison, Taika Waititi, Jon Tenney and Angela Bassett.

In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ringthat grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax…he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.
