“Is it A Bird? Is It A Plane?” No its another tv spot and poster for THE GREEN LANTERN! The word overkill came to mind when these 2 latest editions to the now crowded marketing train for the movie, overdoing it can spoil a movie which us here at The Peoples Movies are very mixed views on. Will this be the worldwide success Warner Bros are hoping the movie will be or will this be the biggest disaster since England’s recent failed World Cup bid (personally that fiasco is merely bad losers kicking off a storm). The recent 3D Trailer has slightly mended the wounds from the early disasters but its that word again Overkill, this looks like a CGI overkill, there is need for cgi effects in some places but this looks 90% CGI 10% real. Ryan Reynolds as a superhero just doesn’t fit either and those cgi eyes when the mask is one are damm eerie looking!
GREEN LANTERN movie is based on the Dc title and stars Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan withBlake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Tim Robbins, Jay O. Sanders, Temuera Morrison, Taika Waititi, Jon Tenney and Angela Bassett.
