“The Fuzzy Pack is in the house!!!” – Yes its the second teaser trailer for THE MUPPETS movie, second trailer in one week. It seems we have an idea what way the marketing train will be rolling with this movie but is it a kids movie or is it a movie made for once kids now adults (like me) who were raised on The Muppets? It’s ironic on the day THE HANGOVER Part 2 is released Kermit & Co make a parody of the first teaser of The Hangover Part 2 ? Fuzzy Pack! Oh and look who’s in it as well Zach Galifianakis?! Will Disney go for a parody selection of teasers of upcoming movies out before theres? Possibly and if done well it will work. What this trailer does also is gives us our first cameo Danny Trejo! The trailer is cheesy but fun.
The human actors for this movie will be Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, Rashida Jones, Zach Galifianakis and 1001 more cameo . Unfortunately we have a long ridiculous wait for this here in UK & Ireland we have to wait until February 12th 2012 but for American fans the waiting is not as painful but November 23 rd.
On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino house band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate.
