After 10 years of been the young wizard tHarry Potter that era will come to a end this summer when Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2 will grace our screens. As they say the show must go on and Harry Potter is now grown up and its time to move to pastures new and we already know  Daniel Radcliffe has already spread his wings with Hammer Films Gothic Horror Woman In Black but now it seems he wants to spread those wings into some photography.

Variety are reporting Daniel Radcliffe is now attached to Christopher Monger’s (The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain) The Amatuer Photographer, a comedy about a young man in 1970’s who is drafted into a sleepy New England town to serve a photographer recording there intimate moments whilst battling with the local authorities.

The movie is based on a novel Monger actually wrote which he has now adapted for the big screen, he will also direct to. As for when the movie may start shooting there is no sign of when what we know it wont be soon but later as Mr Potter is finishing of a stint on Broadway at the moment with How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying.

Christopher Monger also was recently nominated for directing Temple Grandin the hbo tv series (on Sky Atlantic).

It will be interesting to see how Daniel Radcliffe will cope with out and out comedy which is really new ground for him especially been a lead role, we know he can do it well in the world of fantasy and soon in supernatural but for now brace yourselves to seeing him as Harry for the final time on July 15th.
