THE GOLDEN GLOBES 2011 AWARDS – The Winners

With my current newish job dates in my calender of events have went straight over my head and completely forgot about this event last night! as Homer J Simpson would say “DOHH!!!”. Late last night around 1am gmt the Annual Golden Globes Awards were held in the Beverly Hilton Los Angeles, the 68th year the prestigious awards have been running celebrating cinema and television, you could say there America’s version of The BAFTA’S which is sort off our Oscars.

The Golden Globes are the first big indicator of ho the Oscars may fair and if you thought last Oscars where a 2 dog race this time you can count 4 or 5 possible contenders, but you’ll have to wait until February 27th before we can find out when the Oscars are annouced.

Last Night the big winner in the movie categories was David Fincher’s THE SOCIAL NETWORK which picked up  four of the possible six awards the movie was up for and for the television GLEE the Channel 4 drama-musical was the big winner on the night.
