Optimum Realeasing have released a new UK Trailer for Alejandro González Iñárritu‘s BIUTIFUL. The movie stars Javier Bardem as Uxbal a man struggling to cope with the tribulations of fatherhood, crime, love, guilt and morality in the dark underworld of modern day Barcelona. Its a movie which premiered at this years Cannes Film festival earning the Spanaird the best actor award and the movieis another fine example of many good actors who actually perform better whilst in indie movies compared to full blown blockbuster movie, you can say its the pressure is off them more in independent as they seem to have more artistic license to express themselves.

Synopsis: Biutiful is a love story between a father and his children. This is the journey of Uxbal, a conflicted man who struggles to reconcile fatherhood, love, spirituality, crime, guilt and mortality amidst the dangerous underworld of modern Barcelona. His livelihood is earned out of bounds, his sacrifices for his children know no bounds. Like life itself, this is a circular tale that ends where it begins. As fate encircles him and thresholds are crossed, a dim, redemptive road brightens, illuminating the inheritances bestowed from father to child, and the paternal guiding hand that navigates life’s corridors, whether bright, bad – or biutiful.
