As the Oscars start to come into the main light of the movie world, the next award hopefuls are starting to take shape and today Halle Berry has thrown her hat into the foray for possible nominee’s with the release of the trailer for her next flick FRANKIE & ALICE.
The movie is set in 1970’s Los Angeles about a young woman struggling to cope with multiple personality disorder with the white racist alter ego been the one she struggles with most. The movie also stars the brilliant Stellan Skarsgard as Dr Oz, with Chandra Wilson and Phylicia Rashad also starring in a movie which first aired back at Cannes Film Festival and The Hollywood Reporter described Berry’s performance as “spellbinding” which we havent heard about from the actress in a very long time. As the movie toured around the the festival network it has picked up postive reviews and probably give Halle Berry the nod on to the nominees list for best actress.
Frankie & Alice doesnt have a offical uk release date yet (expect Feb/March) but the movie will get a release in Los Angeles December 10th with American nationwide release in February
