TIFF 2010:First Images For BUNRAKU Starring Woody Harrelson & Demi Moore

The first offical images of the upcoming fantasy BUNRAKU which stars Josh Harnett, Demi Moore, Woody Harrelson, Ron Perlman and Kevin McKidd which come to us thanks to Toronto Film Festival.

The movie is best described as a samurai western/fantasy which has been written and directed by Guy Moshe (Holly) which is visually stunning backed up with some unique coregraphed action scenes which is mould of East meets West combined with old school meets new school, so we can say there’s plently for all here!!

A while back I heard about the movie and what heard about then I assumed it was a animation but until now there hasn’t been really anything to get us excited or even make us cringe but these new image I think we can say is getting us interested!

In a world with no guns, a mysterious drifter (Josh Hartnett), a young samurai and a bartender (Woody Harrelson) plot revenge against a ruthless leader (Ron Perlman) and his army of thugs, headed by nine diverse and deadly assassins. This visually stunning film is filled with uniquely choreographed action sequences of a new style that melds east with west and old school with new.

The movie due to make it’s world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival next month, so I think we can say a promo trailer at least will be making its way online very shortly and hopefully the trailer will live up to the qaulity of the photos below!
