FrightFest 2010:Adam Green's HATCHET 2 Teaser Trailer debuts

The eagerly awaited return of Victor Crowley is nearlY here as the teaser trailer for Adam Green’s slasher flick HATCHET 2 is here! The trailerhas been debuted online by Yahoo just in time before the movie makes it’s world premiere at this years Film 4 Frightfest where it will kick-off the festival itself.

If you are a lover of all things slasher this should be an eagerly awaited return of one of the genre’s icons Victor Crowley who is played by Kane Hodder whom is himself no stranger to the genre either as he is also Jason Voorhees! the movie also stars Tony Todd, Danielle Harris, Tom Holland and AJ Brown.

The movie is due out in USA on October 1st but there’s no info on a uk release date however on October 1st you can catch Adam Green’s previous movie FROZEN which gets a UK release on the same day, I caught this movie at Glasgow Film Festival back in February and I really enjoyed it and I think you guys will too!!!

Synopsis: Picking up right where the original ended, Marybeth escapes the clutches of the deformed, swamp-dwelling iconic killer Victor Crowley. After learning the truth about her family’s connection to the hatchet-wielding madman, Marybeth returns to the Louisiana swamps along with an army of hunters to recover the bodies of her family and exact the bloodiest revenge against the bayou butcher.
