What a way to kick-off the day with a badass awesome trailer for Zack Snyder’s SUCKERPUNCH! Another excellent piece of footage from Comic-Con and what this year’s con has done with giving us all a taster of whats to come in the next 12 months shows up how poor the movies and so called blockbusters have been this year, though little bits of footage can be deceiving too just wait until we see the whole thing when it arrives!
The Snyder’s know how to get the pulses raised with the sexy character banners from a few days ago, meccha fans would have loved the first view of pink bunny and in a era of remake everything its also refreshing to see a director create something original & unique. Visually Zack Snyder has followed the dark cgi style he used in 300 & Watchmen but its done very well, movie wise this looks also very fast paced rollercoster ride of a story with many twists and turns round every corner. We’ve only been treated to small doses of the movie still a little bit more on the story to come out to explain ‘the war’ all the girls are involved in, but theres still a while to go yet.
Suckerpunch stars Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone, Carla Gugino, Jon Hamm, Scott Glenn and the movie is due in first qaurter of 2011 with no UK date confirmed only American with March 25th 2011 set.
Sucker Punch is a movie about little girl who is trying to hide from the pain caused by her evil stepfather and lobotomy. She ends up in mental institution and while there she starts to imagine alternative reality. She plans to escape from that imaginary world but to do that she needs to steal five objects before she is caught by a vile man. Story is set in 1950’s.-imdb
