ShareWell its offical! Well according to Mail On Sunday a “reliable” British rag sorry newspaper that Billy Murray will be appearing in the upcoming third movie for the Ghostbusters Franchise.
In the article with the newspaper he reveals that everyone;s favourite Ghousthunting Doctor Peter Venkmen will make a cameo/small appearance in the long awaited Ghostbuster movie. There was an stipulation that Bill has made clear for hin to return , is that he’ll only come back as a Ghost himself!!!
“I’ll come back in Ghostbusters 3 only if I get to be a ghost. I said to them, ‘I’ll do it if you kill me off in the first reel.’ So now they are going to have me as a ghost in the film.” – (1)
This will give the new movie a great boost not just fianacially but also in the humour stakes and we all know Bill Murray only making a brief appearance can also work wonders , as seen in his cameo as himself in Zombieland. That small role all we can say was genius and if he’s a desceased ghostbuster, i wonder if they’ll do something with him a slimer?
Many people are a little concerned about this reboot, sequel whatever you want to call it but this could be the final piece of the jigsaw in Ghostbusters 3 been a success.
