Whip it is the directoral debut for Drew Barrymore and the movie is about Bliss (Ellen Page) who is a indie rock misfit who moves to a small town and deals with her misery by joining the local rollerskate league. This movie is in the same mould as movies like Adventureland, juno and Bring it on, so fans of those movies will relate with this and enjoy it.
