Its Friday again and this weeks movie Choice of the Week is the violent but stylish looking Mesrine . “L’instinct de mort” or Mesrine:Death Instinct Part 1 it’s English name is The story of french gangster Jacques Mesrine, before he was called Public Enemy N°1. in late 1960’s into 1970’s France (briefly in USA and Canada as well) only to be assissnated in November 1979.
The film is actually in 2 parts with part in the cinemas on August 28th (L’ennemi public no 1) and film has an array of big name French stars all who have made it in Hollywood as well; Vincent Cassel (Francois Toulour the fox theif from Ocean’s 12 and briefly 13) Gerard Depardeiu and Mathieu Amalric (Domonic Greene – Qauntim of Solace, Munich).
