They all always say be careful what you do as your past could come back to haunt you. In Mission Impossible: Fallout this is the case for Ethan Hunt. In the wee small hours of this morning, Paramount Pictures finally released the first official UK trailer for the movie. It’s high octane, insanely nuts, but what more do you expect from a Mission Impossible flick?

You have two and half minutes to watch this trailer before it self-destructs…

You don’t have to be a fan of the sport to know last night one of America’s premier sports events took place, The Superbowl. It also happens to be when the big film studios fight for those high-end adverts to showcase the latest trailers for their big upcoming films.

We’ve known for a while Paramount was going to debut the first trailer and rarely do they disappoint. Mission Impossible may not be everyone’s cup of tea but for those wanting fun high octane popcorn movies, they deliver the goods. Even Tom Cruise is on form when it comes to this franchise, shame he doesn’t share that passion with most of his other films.

Now in his mid-50’s he still performs his own stunts and last year one particular stunt made the headlines for the wrong reasons. The stunt resulted in the actor breaking his ankle which delayed the release of the movie. You can see that break near the end of the trailer!

The best intentions often come back to haunt you. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong. Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby also join the dynamic cast with filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie returning to the helm.

Mission Impossible: Fallout will arrive in the UK and Irish cinemas from 26th July. The movie also stars Henry Cavill, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Sean Harris, Angela Bassett, Vanessa Kirby, Michelle Monaghan, Alec Baldwin, Wes Bentley, Frederick Schmidt.
