We’ve known virtually since the release of Ant-Man that the follow-up movie was going to be Ant-Man And The Wasp. Last August Marvel Studios announced production for the movie had kicked off and now we’re getting closer to the movie’s release.

We’ve been drip-fed little snippets of information and today we get a new image which shows off our heroes Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) suited up.

Those eagle-eyed fans will notice our micro heroes suits have had upgrades. All thank’s to Hope’s Dad, Dr.Pym (Michael Douglas), the original Ant-Man. It was teased in the 2015 Ant-Man movie that Hank was making a suit for his daughter and now we learned Scot’s suit has had the upgrades too.

The sequel does suggest there will be a lot of focus on Hope and her establishment as The Wasp, a role that her mother also had. We will learn the full story of her mother’s death with Michelle Pfieffer playing her Mother. Despite the synopsis below, we don’t know a lot about the movie but if they follow the same comedic tone as the first movie, we might have another winner!

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink: “Ant-Man and The Wasp.” In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.
