Mork Calling Doctor, Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor Who Outfit Revealed

When the BBC announced the new Doctor Who was going to be Jodie Whittaker it raised a few eyebrows but for most of us excited at the first Female Timelord. Now the euphoria has turned to the actress first outing on the big screen in next month’s annual Christmas episode.

So new series, a new doctor there has to be a new look and today BBC has revealed the first official look at the Doctor’s outfit.

The former Broadchurch star aka the 13th Timelord has left behind that dark hoodie from her announcement video for something a lot more colourful. Following a more dress down approach to her 12th Timelord following no specific dress code like their previous fellow doctors. Dawning a long coat possibly with big pockets for her sonic screwdriver, Stripped T-Shirt, Turquoise trousers and socks. We mustn’t forget those yellow braces that make us think Robin Williams Mork was a big inspiration? What we will say is her look has been inspired by the previous doctors,

For those who are eagle-eyed, The Tardis seems to have had a makeover too. The St John’s Ambulance logo has gone and now replaced, Pull Handle darker, her alert light has changed too!

Season 11, unfortunately, won’t be on our screens until Autumn 2018 made up of 10 episodes running at 50 minutes instead of the traditional 45 minutes. Jodie Whittaker will be joined by 3 companions, Graham played by The Chase Presenter Bradley Walsh. The other two companions will be Yasmin (Mandip Gill), Ryan (Tosin Cole), all 3 we don’t know much about at this stage.

As for her the regeneration episode, that will happen on the annual Christmas Day BBC Episode. A chance for Doctor Who fans to say goodbye to Peter Capaldi.
