Have you ever been a backend of a squirrel before? Emily Blunt has.  Paramount Pictures has released the first Trailer for Sherlock Gnomes, the follow up to Gnomeo & Juliet. Blunt and James McAvoy reprise their roles in a new garden.But wait who is kidnapping the gnomes?Cue the greatest sleuth ever Sherlock Gnomes!

He’s had scissor hands, played Captain Jack Sparrow recently was riding on The Orient Express what else is there left for Johnny Depp to play? The “sworn protector of garden gnomes”. Will this movie do any harm to his career or improve his statue? Probably not but for a movie that raked in $200million, it’s surprising this sequel took so long to be made. Fart jokes, Gnomes in makinis, simple jokes the kids will love it and there’s Elton Music for the parents!

The beloved garden gnomes from GNOMEO AND JULIET are back for a whole new adventure in London. When Gnomeo and Juliet first arrive in the city with their friends and family, their biggest concern is getting their new garden ready for spring. However, they soon discover that someone is kidnapping garden gnomes all over London. When Gnomeo and Juliet return home to find that everyone in their garden is missing – there’s only one gnome to call…SHERLOCK GNOMES. The famous detective and sworn protector of London’s garden gnomes arrive with his sidekick Watson to investigate the case. The mystery will lead our gnomes on a rollicking adventure where they will meet all new ornaments and explore an undiscovered side of the city.

Sherlock Gnomes doesn’t have an official UK&Irish release date just yet. There is one official site stating May 2018, however, we expect possibly earlier maybe around Easter time.The movie also stars the voices of Chiwetel Ejiofor, Maggie Smith, Michael Caine, Ashley Jensen, Matt Lucas, Stephen Merchant, Mary J. Blige and Johnny Depp.
