Studiocanal Unveil New Character Posters For Paddington 2

After the critical and Box Office success of Paul King‘s live adaptation of Paddington Bear, it was clearly obvious a second movie was on the cards. Jump forward two years, in three weeks time Paddington 2 will be in our cinemas and Studiocanal has sent us 9 new Character posters plus the main poster for the movie.

The character posters feature the much-loved Brown family; Hugh Bonneville as Mr Brown, Sally Hawkins as Mrs Brown, Madeleine Harris as Judy Brown & Samuel Joslin as Jonathan Brown as well as Julie Walters as Mrs Bird, Jim Broadbent as Mr Gruber, Hugh Grant as Phoenix Buchanan, Peter Capaldi as Mr Curry, Brendan Gleeson as Knuckles McGinty and Imelda Staunton as the voice of Aunt Lucy.

The much-anticipated sequel to the worldwide hit family film finds Paddington happily settled with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens, where he has become a popular member of the community, spreading joy and marmalade wherever he goes. While searching for the perfect present for his beloved Aunt Lucy’s 100th birthday, Paddington spots a unique pop-up book in Mr. Gruber’s antique shop and embarks upon a series of odd jobs to buy it. But when the book is stolen, it’s up to Paddington and the Browns to unmask the thief…

Paddington Bear 2 will be in UK and Irish Cinemas from 10th November. Supporting cast comes from Dame Eileen Atkins, Richard Ayoade, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Tom Conti, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, Jessica Hynes, Claire Keelan, Joanna Lumley, Ben Miller, Aaron Neil, Meera Syal, Noah Taylor.
