As we slowly creep closer to the mid-December release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, new exciting promos are arriving online. Over in The States last night a brand new TV Spot was aired during the World Series Baseball.

The TV Spot is entitled ‘Destiny‘ which showcases a lot of footage we’ve seen and then some. The spot is near identical to the recent full trailer with some new footage not been aired yet. The big highlight shows Rey (Daisy Ridley)approaching the Force tree on Ahch-To. But is she alone? The snippet shows she might be but it’s hard to say unless you are a Jedi you’ll know! Hardcore Star Wars fans will be saying to yourselves ‘this looks very familiar?!’.It should as the scene reminds us of the time when a young Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) approached the caves of Dagobah on becoming a Jedi.

We’re overly excited to see this movie and this TV Spot seems to have open some old wounds that The Last Jedi has similar parallels to The Empire Strikes Back.Director Rian Johnson has stated his movie does not copy Empires Strikes Back. He does say there are ‘similarities’, this is Rey’s journey and Luke is now in Yoda’s shoes.
