It’s nearly time to boldly go where no one has gone before as Netflix is finally launching the long-awaited Star Trek: Discovery Series. After the long wait, Netflix is teasing Trek fans with some good old Klingon hospitality in a brand new trailer. It’s always a good day to die Klingon when there’s a war about to kick off and we finally we get a look at the legendary Villains of the franchise…

If you have followed the franchise since day one since Kirk and Spock’s days you’ll know the great battles they have had with Starfleet. You’ll also know in the later days they were also powerful allies. Now over a decade, today the first new series launches on Netflix (CBS in US and Canada)with war looming. But what do the Klingons look like when you haven’t seen them for nearly 100 years? The reviews are now arriving online and the critics are calling it ‘action-packed, dark and grungy’ are you ready to beam up?

Star Trek: Discovery will follow the voyages of Starfleet on their missions to discover new worlds and new lifeforms, and one Starfleet officer who must learn that to truly understand all things alien, you must first understand yourself.

Star Trek, one of the most iconic and influential global television franchises, returns to television 50 years after it first premiered with Star Trek: Discovery. The series will feature a new ship, new characters and new missions while embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and doers.

Star Trek: Discovery will launch a new episode every Monday on Netflix UK with the new episode airing after it’s shown on CBS in the USA. The series stars Sonequa Martin-Green, Michelle Yeoh, Doug Jones, Shaza Latif, Clare McConnell, Kenneth Mitchell, Maulik Pancholy, Anthony Rapp, Damon Runyan, Terry Serpico, and (Hello to) Jason Isaacs.
