New Mother! Featurettes Try To Explain What We Can Expect

Let’s be honest, when it comes to movies sometimes it’s best to know very little about a movie as possible apart from the genre. Darren Aronofsky’s Mother! is one of those movies that knowing very little apart from it’s a ‘psychological thriller’  best way to approach the movie. We won’t deny this movie won’t be for everyone but that’s the great thing about movies, in general, there are movies for everyone. This movie does share a similar road to his underrated homage to Roman Polanski with Black Swan then again it has its own road too.

There’s been a lot of ‘WTF’ moments from those fortunate to have seen this movie and Paramount Pictures have picked up on this. Today they have sent us three brand new featurettes to celebrate the release of Mother! which is now in cinemas. The three featurettes star Jennifer Lawrence sharing her thoughts on the film, what audiences can expect and what they’ll take away from the experience.Let’s just say it will be a unique experience and that be best to leave the movie tropes rulebook at home and go with the flow…

The People’s Movies Bradley Hadcroft watch Mother! for us and you can read his review (spoiler free) here.

In Mother! The focus is all about a couple (Jennifer Lawerence and Javier Bardem) who live a quaint life out in the tranquil countryside. That peaceful existence is interrupted when they have uninvited guests that test their relationship.
