In Double Date UK Trailer It’s Time To Paint The Town Red

Dating can be a scary time for anyone but in Benjamin Barfoot‘s Double Date it’s extremely terrifying when you’re a virgin like Jim.Leave it to your best mate to get you laid and celebrate that special night with sisters!

After a successful festival run which included a positive screening at last month’s Horror Channel Frightfest Pinpoint Films picked up the British Black Comedy. Less than four weeks time the movie will get a limited UK cinema run and today we get a look at the official trailer and poster. You’ll see the meaning ‘painting The Town Red’ might not be the same meaning our boys are looking for!

Unbearably self-assured, and irritatingly cocksure, one thing Alex (Socha) can boast about is his loyalty to his dearest friend, Jim (Morgan). With the latter’s 30th birthday on the horizon, Alex promises to help get his best friend laid, so he won’t reach this unwelcome milestone a virgin. They muster up the courage to organise a double date with sisters Kitty (Wenham) and Lulu (Groome), but little do the boys know, their company for the evening are twisted serial killers, and have other plans for their night ahead. As Jim and Lulu strike up a genuine bond, his future rests entirely on her conscience, and whether or not she’ll betray her sister and warn Jim and Alex of their nefarious intentions.

Double Date will be released in the UK and Irish cinemas from Friday 13th October. The movie stars Danny Morgan, Georgia Groome, Kelly Wenham, and Michael Socha. There is also a host of cameos including Dexter Fletcher, Tom Sturridge, Olivia Poulet, Robert Glenister, Rosie Cavaliero and Cressida Bonas. Also musicians Goat, and rapper MC Big Narstie also star.
