Netflix’s Black Mirror Season 4 Trailer ‘Lives Long And Prosper’

After making a name for itself on Channel 4, Charlie Booker‘s Dystopian Twilight Zone style Black Mirror is returning for a fourth season on Netflix. Today the streaming giants have released the trailer for the new season which teases all six episodes. Is the show going all out Star Trek? Live Long And Prosper and watch the trailer now…
Yes your eyes did not deceive you, Season four will have a Star Trek style episode starring Breaking Bad’s Jesse Plemons. USS Callister looks like it will deliver the humour with a campy homage to the classic Gene Roddenberry TV Show. Something glowy and growing parts on the spaceship might be an unwe, comed guest or i it one of the crew?

The first footage we find ourselves in snowy surroundings in an episode called Crocodile starring Andrea Riseborough, what does she fear? Arkangel starring Rosemarie DeWitt who looks like she’ll be up against a ‘devil child’. Hang The DJ Georgina Campbell and Joe Cole looks like a date controlled by some technology, could it be social media? Metalhead, Maxine Peake might just have a small problem of a psychotic robot. Black Museum Douglas Hodge looks a creepy suspenseful story which shows someone ‘recharging’ are they android or a sign humanity will plug in to live the phrase ‘recharge your batteries’?

Great thing about Black Mirror is every episode has been created to be it’s own standalone story, so no need to try piece together clues. As ever many episodes will be cryptic but all have one thing in common, the fear of new technology and the potential horrors. There is no word on when Black Mirror Season Four will stream on Netflix as the trailer states ‘Coming Soon’. It’s expected Season Four will arrive before the end of 2017 possibly October.
