Watch Proud Mary UK Trailer When Jackie Brown Goes All Out John Wick!

It may not be 110th Street but if Jackie Brown was to go all out ala John Wick, the end result might just look like this one. After helping shape NASA, Tajiri P. Henson is ready to don the leathers load up her gun and enter the action thriller genre. She’s Mary but no ordinary lady she’s Proud Mary and thanks to Sony Pictures we have her first UK Trailer, she’s a bad-ass hit woman.Killing for the Man every Night and Day…

Ironically the movies name and this trailer play out to the Tina Turner’s iconic song ‘Proud Mary‘. A movie like this could go well for Henson’s plug to be one of Marvel’s big superheroes. There is also the small of a popular TV show called Empire in which our leading lady is one of that shows standouts. The song (originally sang by Creedence Clearwater Revival first) and what it does really set the tone of the movie. A bit like Atomic Blonde (Charlize Theron), very distinctive hopefully one that will easily associate with the movie directly. Some really nice action shots, Henson looks natural in this subgenre having fun, so the big test will be if this movie will bring anything new to a sub genre packed to the rafters? Hopefully, it will. Check out the poster below that shows this movie may also have a blaxploitation influence too.
