War Erupts In Brooklyn In Bushwick, Watch UK Trailer

The USA is one country been plagued with troubling battles not just on the international stage but also at home. The American Civil War was one of the most publicised wars covered in School History books, but what if another war broke out, say in Brooklyn? Step forward Bushwick, which sees Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista versus an entire Texas battalion in New York City!

Hot from this year’s Sundance Film Festival Kaleidoscope Entertainment picked up the low budget action thriller as the Lonestar State makes it’s stance to be its own nation. But why Brooklyn? Next month the movie will get a limited cinema release in the UK & Ireland and today we get a look at the movie’s UK trailer

We do love our “What if…” movies who hit us with unexpected scenarios, this looks like one of those brainless fun movies we do love to cleanse our palette every so often. Action Thriller sub genre is perfect to deliver that kick and this looks to be times when it comes to the world political map. Combining the good bits from The Warriors with Escape From New York!Make no mistake. This is war!

Lucy emerges from a Brooklyn subway to find that her neighbourhood is under attack by black-clad military soldiers. She crosses paths with an ex-Marine corpsman, Stupe, who reluctantly helps her fight for survival through a civil war, as Texas attempts to secede from the United States of America.

Bushwick is been released in UK, Ireland and the USA the same day of 25th August before its released on Digital Dowland plus various On Demand channels. Our Writer Owen Neve was at last month’s Sundance London Film Festival which the movie played, so we’ll have a review!

The movie also stars Brittany Snow, Angelic Zambrana, Jeff Lima, Paco Lozan, and Christian Navarro.
