War Is On Earth In New The Dark Tower International Trailer

War is coming to Earth and as the great cataclysm approaches in the latest International (UK) Trailer for Stephen King‘s fantasy The Dark Tower. With the movie now finally less than 5 weeks away, we get another promo we get a video that reveals a little more of the story. However fans of the books maybe a little frustrated as we still don’t clues if this will be a combo of the books or book by book. Check out the trailer…

For a movie that’s been in the pipeline for a very long time, Sony Pictures has been taking a very subtle approach which has frustrated very many. Not long to go now and this trailer is the best evidence in what to expect, finally giving us a taster of the action. Everything we get here is solid straight forward with Matthew McConaughey (Man In Black) the baddie tormenting Idris Elba (The Gunslinger) our hero. This looks a fun movie but as I said earlier how well the books are combined may help be the movie’s downfall, but we have faith this will deliver.

There are other worlds than these. Stephen King’s The Dark Tower, the ambitious and expansive story from one of the world’s most celebrated authors, makes its launch to the big screen. The last Gunslinger, Roland Deschain (Idris Elba), has been locked in an eternal battle with Walter O’Dim, also known as the Man in Black (Matthew McConaughey), determined to prevent him from toppling the Dark Tower, which holds the universe together. With the fate of the worlds at stake, good and evil will collide in the ultimate battle as only Roland can defend the Tower from the Man in Black.

The Dark Tower is set for an 18th August UK&Irish release date. Co-starring Jake Chambers, Abbey Lee, Fran Kranz, Jackie Earle Haley, Katheryn Winnick and Claudia Kim.
