New Logan Lucky UK Trailer Daniel Craig Isn’t ‘Shakened Nor Stirred’

2019 James Bond is set to return to our cinema screens could it be with Daniel Craig as her favourite Secret Service Spy again? With first impressions of the actor’s next movie Steve Soderbergh’s Logan Lucky, he might not be rushing back to slip on the famous tux anytime soon.

Ahead of next month’s UK cinema release Studiocanal has released a second UK Trailer he wants to the Coca-Cola 600 the biggest race in the Charlotte NC calendar. But can he do it with the help of the simple minded brothers Jimmy and Clyde Logan?

The early reviews are slowly arriving online and the word is Steven Soderbergh‘s return from retirement is strong, funny with a lot of heart. It’s the comedic crime caper we expect from the director pitting two down in their lucky simpleton brothers (Tatum and Driver) as our wannabe thieves look a perfect casting match. A long time coming here’s hoping it’s 4 years until Soderbergh makes another movie. This movie shows off a bit more of the story with a big focus on dumb fun!

Jimmy Logan (Channing Tatum) is from a blue-collar family from the hills of West Virginia, whose clan has been famous for its bad luck for nearly 90 years. After being fired from his job, and with his ex-wife (Katie Holmes) threatening to move out of State taking their daughter with her, Jimmy decides he has to do something to get his family’s life back on track. With a little help from his brother Clyde Logan (Adam Driver), his sister Mellie (Riley Keough) and an incarcerated explosive expert, the aptly named Joe Bang (Daniel Craig), he plans to steal $14 million from the Charlotte Motor Speedway on the busiest race day of the year.

Logan Lucky also stars Hilary Swank, Seth MacFarlane, Katherine Waterston, Sebastian Stan, and Brian Gleeson with the movie arriving in UK and Irish cinemas on 25th August (USA 18th August).
