K Is OnThe Hunt In New Blade Runner 2049 Trailer

It’s been a tough year for many of those movies that have been highly anticipated movies for 2017. More recently movies like Spider-Man: Homecoming has delivered and Sony Pictures will be hoping Blade Runner 2049 will too in the Autumn. Today they have released a brand new second UK trailer which highlights more details of the movie including new characters. Don’t expect big revelations from this latest promo but enough to entice those curiosities and why this is a must watch later this year.

This new trailer does show off new dialogue but it’s also a trailer that would be just as powerful with just the score from Jóhann Jóhannsson. The synth score harks back to the Ridley Scott original movie will be ambience to your ears. It’s also the perfect accompaniment to Denis Villeneuve‘s visual style which makes you think the French Candian director is a natural successor to Ridley Scott. Ryan Gosling‘s K is on the hunt with his search crossing paths with Dave Bautista ironically their meeting ended in a brawl, is he a goon for Jared Leto‘s character? Villeneuve is a visionary and with his name being connected to other cult movies remakes it’s a sign he’s the man to deliver the movie the studios want. Here’s hoping this will be the sequel we have been waiting a very long long time!

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Blade Runner 2049 also stars Ana de Armas, Robin Wright, Jared Leto, Barkhad Abdi, Lennie James, Mackenzie Davis, and Sylvia Hoeks. The movie will also arrive in the UK, Ireland and USA from 6th October.
