Jennifer Lawrence Not Alone In Mother! Teaser Trailer

Jennifer Lawrence Not Alone In Mother! Teaser Trailer

With the full trailer set to be released next Tuesday 8th August Paramount Pictures step up the promotion for Darren Aronofsky‘s Mother! Very little is known about the Black Swan director’s latest movie apart from Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer starring in what looks like the director’s return to the horror genre. The trailer is short but sweet and Jennifer Lawrence seems to be ‘not alone’.

Running only at 30 seconds long we don’t any sense in what the movie is all about. What we really get is the Hunger Games star walking around a big empty house with voice-over dialogue (possibly Ed Harris). The overall outcome they have unwanted guests and that mystery really does heighten excitement for this movie. After Aronofsky’s homage to Polanski with Black Swan, the mind does wonder what to expect with this Psychological horror thriller. After the bumpy mixed noise from his most ambitious 2014 movie Noah, Mother! looks more in the direction of his previous movies. Will next week’s full trailer give us more insight what this movie is truly all about? What ever that promo will reveal, you can sign us all up for this one!

Here’s the official Synopsis that came with the trailer…
A couple’s relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence. From filmmaker Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan, Requiem for a Dream), mother! stars Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer in this riveting psychological thriller about love, devotion and sacrifice.

Mother! will be released in the UK, Ireland and the USA 15th September, also starring Domhnall Gleeson and Kristen Wiig.
