Doug Liman’s The Wall UK Trailer Pits Aaron-Taylor Johnson With A Sniper

2017 looks like a busy year for The Bourne Identity/Edge Of Tomorrow director with Tom Cruise led American Made (running, running and running), before then we have The Wall. Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and WWE superstar John Cena in a simple story of wits of 2 soldiers, one sniper determined to take them both out. Courtesy of Studiocanal we have the movies UK trailer, can Mr Cena unleash a five knuckle shuffle and give that ‘Can’t See Me’

The Wall is a deadly psychological thriller that follows two soldiers pinned down by a lethal Iraqi sniper, with nothing but a crumbling wall between them. Their fight becomes as much a battle of will and wits as it is of lethally accurate marksmanship.

Directed by Doug Liman (Mr. & Mrs Smith, The Bourne Identity, Edge of Tomorrow), The Wall stars Golden Globe winner® Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Nocturnal Animals, Kick-Ass) and John Cena (Trainwreck, Daddy’s Home).

Have to admit this movie came out from nowhere very unexpected, that’s in now way a negative towards the movie. Sometimes the unexpected movies hit the right notes and deliver what they say on the tin. Keeping things simple less complicated especially in this type of movie, it’s all about building the tension. It’s also a test of creativity to on the cast and director and John Cena is slowly proving to be the next worthy WWE star to show he has the dramatic chops. Sorry kids Cena hasn’t been injured he’s just been making his path into tinsel town and so far it’s been a solid run.

The Wall is set for a 28th July UK and Irish cinema release.
