It’s amazing to think at one time the UK was the leading force for the horror genre with Hammer Films, Amicus providing some of the greatest iconic movies in the genre. Rarely have we’ve movies from our little country at the same level, however, we do get the odd movie that’s truly terrifying. This one may deliver some nerve-jangling scares and keep the British flag flying a little longer.

The Ritual stars Rafe Spall (The Big Short, Life of Pi), Robert James-Collier (Downton Abbey, Spike Island), Arsher Ali (Line of Duty, Four Lions) and Sam Troughton (Robin Hood, Alien vs. Predator). The movie will be shredding your nerves to pieces from Friday 13th October, now that’s what we call a horror release!
