New War For The Planet If The Apes Featurette Looks At Visual Effects

From the early press previews, it seems the word is good for War For The Planet Of The Apes, then again is been strong since movie one. Matt Reeves has recreated a gritty, realist world post-apocalyptic universe all helped also thanks to wonderful visual effects. From The Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, the amazing motion capture technology used to transform Andy Serkis has pushed the actor to deliver a powerfully emotional performance in each movie. We’ve seen how great the technology works since he worked as Gollum on the Lord Of The Rings you wonder why he hasn’t been considered for Oscar nomination as he’s brought such realism to those roles including Caesar.

20th Century Fox Pictures has created a new behind the scenes featurette which looks at the movies special effects and how WETA the team behind it has taken things to the next level.

As an extra bonus, we have another new clip from the movie called ‘I Came For You‘ which sees Caesar confront the Colonel (Woody Harrelson).
