Meet ‘Bad Ape’ In New War For The Planet Of The Apes Clip

Ahead of the release of War for the Planet of the Apes, Twentieth Century Fox has debuted an exciting new clip from the hotly anticipated new film entitled ‘Bad Ape‘. Caesar and his band of Simian brothers discover an unknown, newly evolved ape named “Bad Ape” (Steve Zahn) – an escapee from a zoo. For the first time in the trilogy, Caesar and his apes discover a new ape outside of their tribe, marking a critical moment in the war between Humans and Apes.

The clip is lengthy and introduces Steve Zahn’s character who from the first time we meet him he fires a gun at Caesar he doesn’t trust even his fellow ape. Looking through previous clips and trailers we see he gains the trust of Caesar, but after watching this could he be a planet?

In War for the Planet of the Apes, the third chapter of the critically acclaimed blockbuster franchise, Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel. After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. As the journey finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the Colonel are pitted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both their species and the future of the planet.

War For The Planet Of The Apes will arrive in the UK, Irish Cinemas from 11th July. Co-Starring Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson, Steve Zahn, Karin Konoval, Judy Greer, and Terry Notary.
