New Wonder Woman Poster Swings The Lasso Of Truth

Every comic book character has an origin story, some recognisable uniform and an iconic weapon of choice. Wonder Woman has several weapons: Sword, shield and the Lasso which is the focus of the upcoming movies latest piece of promotion. Warner Bros/D.C Entertainment has sent us a brand new poster which shows that Lasso or ‘Lasso Of Truth‘. A weapon which can be used to defend or tie someone up enforcing that person to only tell the truth, no lies!

The design is simple, the colours are bold, overall you could say the promotion has played to the less is the best motto. Despite the marketing starting slow, it was still subtle and things seem to be going really well. It also seems if we go by the early fan reactions from those fortunate to witness early previews we’re on for a good movie. Off course many will be still sceptical after Batman V Superman in which Gal Gadot was one of the best things from the movie. We wait in hope!

You can watch the awesome final UK trailer at this page.

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Wonder Woman is set for release in UK&Ireland from 1st June, starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Connie Nielson and directed by Patty Jenkins.
