Next Friday 19th May, Guy Ritchie‘s King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword will be arriving in UK&Iirsh cinemas and Warner Bros has sent 2 new clips in anticipation of the release.
First up is ‘Life Lessons‘ which captures Arthur’s (Charlie Hunnam) transition from boy to man on the streets of Londinium.
In the second clip ‘No Way I’m Fighting‘ which sees a tense talk turn to action between Arthur (Hunnam), Bedivere (Hounsou) and Bill (Gillen), Arthurs first fight in a long time.
We have to admit we have seen this movie and it’s split the opinions of our writers. If you love the legend of King Arthur and just want to see a brainless popcorn fun movie you will probably be onto to a winner. If you want a little more, this version of Arthur may leave you disappointed. At least you will have a laugh at David Beckham‘s bad acting!
When the child Arthur’s father is murdered, Vortigern (Jude Law), Arthur’s uncle, seizes the crown. Robbed of his birthright and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy…whether he likes it or not.
King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword is set for a 19th May UK&Irish release date co-starring Jude Law, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou, Aidan Gillen, Eric Bana, Poppy Delevingne and Annabelle Wallis.
