Is Adam Cole WWE Bound?

Since his ROH contract expired two weeks ago, wrestling fans have been wondering; Is Adam Cole WWE bound? In recent weeks rumors have been picking up, as the Panama City Playboy is reportedly on the company’s radar.

ROH Contract Expiry


On April 30th, Adam Cole’s ROH contract expired. Prior to his contract coming up, rumors of Cole heading to WWE were rife. In addition to this he was also rumored to be headed to New Japan, this time under a full-time contract to the promotion. At this point he has one final date to work with ROH tonight at the War of The Worlds PPV.

After tonight Cole shall be free to work wherever he desires, as he shall be a freelance wrestler, until he ties a deal with a promotion. As WWE, ROH, New Japan & evenĀ Impact Wrestling areĀ all on alert for his services. However his next destination remains unclear.

Appearance At NXT TakeOver Chicago?


If there is any destination Adam Cole looks set to go, it would have to be WWE, more specifically NXT. It has been no secret that WWE have been monitoring Cole’s services for sometime now. Also he openly stated how he would relish the opportunity to work in NXT. While this is not a formal rumour, many fans have expressed that they would not be surprised if Cole appeared at NXT TakeOver Chicago.

WWE would seemingly be the next best destination for Adam Cole’s career, as NXT shall provide him the opportunity to elevate himself to the next platform. There is no doubt if Adam Cole is present in Chicago next Sunday, we shall know about it.
