Where’s Elizabeth Shaw? Watch The Crossing Alien:Covenant Prologue

Happy Alien Day! The day of the year everyone can hear you scream as we celebrate the film franchise where no one could hear you scream. After Dr Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace) and David (Michael Fassbender) escaped with the inch of their lives in Prometheus and with Alien:┬áCovenant virtually the same time. A big question was been asked “what was the fate of our escapees?” and tonight 20th Century Fox Pictures have answered the calls.

Those kind folks at Fox have released a Short called ‘The Crossing‘, a Prologue that fills in the blanks and if you’re worried about been a spoiler, don’t be as this won’t be in the movie.

In The Crossing we see David talk Shaw through the process of repairing him, eventually, the pair grows an understanding of each other. The engineer’s world is a long long way from them, Dr.Shaw must go into a hypersleep leaving David a long time to study the ship and the ‘ways’ of the engineers. The ship eventually arrives at the planet hovers over a public square with many Engineers located there. David looks down quoting away but is Shaw still alive?

The marketing for this movie has been superb, teasing from every angle, and even the promise of the short leaving you to wonder what really happens. Will Shaw’s demise be revealed in the movie? Well if you look back to a recent TV spot it suggests it has and that the pair may have had an unwelcomed guest onboard!

Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created, with ALIEN: COVENANT, a new chapter in his groundbreaking ALIEN franchise. The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.

Alien: Covenant is set to land in UK&Ireland from 12th May (USA 19th May) and will have a crew that consists of Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, Benjamin Rigby.
