Swiss Army Man is a 2017 comedy adventure drama starring Daniel Radcliffe and Paul Dano.

Hank ( Paul Dano) finds himself stranded on an island, his only companion is a washed up body of a man who seemed to also been trapped on the island but drowned.

Suddenly the body who’s name is Manny (Daniel Radcliffe) comes back to life and now they need to figure out why this is happening as well as figuring out how to get off the island.

If that plot didn’t make you think what? Then congrats. The film was very odd and different and despite many delays on my part, on seeing if turns out it’s actually a pretty fun good film.

I wasn’t really expecting much from it and many other reviews I had seen were negotiated. But like with all films I review I went in with an open mind and found that it was very well done.

I liked that it was sort of ridiculous and odd.

It had something for everyone I feel. It was funny, weird, heartfelt and at times emotional.

I honestly didn’t see much wrong with this film other than it was a little slow st times and I felt it could have sped up some of the island scenes a little.

Other than that it was a pretty solid film. The acting was fine for what the film was I wouldn’t say either were show stopping, equally neither was bad, they both done well in their roles and I think it’s just another film that shows how talented and different they can be in there acting.

Swiss Army Man is an overall fun watch – would recommend.
