DVD Review – Ballerina (2016)

Ballerina is a 2017 family animated film. Starting The voice talent of Elle Fanning (Maleficent. The Neon DemoN) as a young orphan girl who dreams of being a ballerina and escapes her tough life in a rural town for the bright lights of Paris to Pursue her dream.

I loved this film. Totally stunning in every way. I think I’m all honesty this was the kind of film I needed at this point. I am usually a massive horror and thriller fan, so when I get an offer to review something different, I take it.

Thankfully this was one of those occasions where I made the right choice. I thought this film was totally stunning from the colours to the score to the overall production. I thought it was just such s fun and beautiful film and one I can certainly recommend to family audiences. I think this is a very good film for children and parents.

There’s something for everyone. That is the beauty of this film, even some of the humour on it is funny even for adults.

I think a lot of time, effort and passion went into this film because it was just so well made and the acting (voice acting) was so professionally done that you could tell the studio had a lot of passion for the project.

In all honesty, there is not much I can say that is wrong with Ballerina, it’s perfect length too as well.

Just an overall great family film, that’s fun, heartwarming, entertaining
